How to Consign With Isla In 3 Steps

1. Gather the items you wish to consign, ensuring they are in season, in great condition, and align with the accepted styles and brands outlined on our website. Please bring items in reusable bags or baskets. We will not accept clothing on hangers. We encourage you to bring at least 1-3  bags of your best items.

2. Review our Consignor Agreement below, then book your consignment appointment through our Consign With Us page or book here Select a Date & Time - Calendly.

3. When your drop-off appointment has been confirmed, you can deliver your items to Isla Consignment during your scheduled time. Once you arrive we will look through your items. We will only accept items that we know we can sell. After this you will sign the consignor agreement.

A few things to ask yourself before you consign your items:
  • Are you ready to let the items go?
  • Are the items clean and freshly laundered?
  • Do the items have holes, rips, pilling, stains, or odors?
  • Are the items in season?
  • Do the items align with the styles and brands we accept on the Consign With Us page on our website?

A few things to note about our Consignment Process:.

  • You will sign the Consignor Agreement once you arrive.
  • We accept men's and women's fashion in all sizes.
  • Appointments are 5min or less.
  • While we look through your items you may browse the shop.
  • Your items cannot be returned until the 2-month agreement is over.

Isla's Consignor Agreement

The Consignor Agreement stands for 60 days after your items have been dropped off. Once your items have been dropped off we do not offer returns or “give backs” until the 60 day agreement is over. When the agreement ends your items can be returned to you or donated through Isla to one of two local non-profit organizations:

The Sunday Station or Dawn To Dawn.

Unsold items can be picked up within two weeks after we have sent you a reminder email if you have requested to have them returned. Unclaimed items will be donated to one of the above non-profits if they are not picked up within the 2 week period.

If Isla Consignment accepts an item which is later deemed unsuitable for sale (stain, hole, pilling etc), the item will, at Isla Consignment's sole discretion, be donated or made available for 2 weeks for you to collect.

Isla Consignor return rate is 40%: Consignors will receive 40% of the final selling price of each item. Isla Consignment will determine all prices for consigned items and will take into account the condition of the item, brand, and the price originally bought for. All items are subject to a price reduction or to be put on sale at any time at Isla Consignment’s sole discretion.

Consignors who bring in Slow Fashion Brands will receive a 50/50 split instead of a 40/60 split. Please refer to our Slow Fashions guideline on our website for any information regarding this.

Monies earned can be received as cash at Isla Consignment or redeemed as store credit. The Consignor is responsible for checking their account balance and requesting a payout. **Please note, payouts that are $200.00 or more can only be paid out by E-transfer. We will only contact the Consignor to come in for a payout when the 60 day agreement is over and there are unsold items to be returned to the Consignor, as specified above.

The Consignor will receive a Consignor Account login ID and password for accessing their listed items and available balance through our online portal.

See you soon!
